Home from Home…except we’ll make the coffee

Actually, It’s All About You

…and your family, of course. We welcome families with children of all ages, and there’s nothing we love more than to see children spending time in TurtleDove with mum, dad, granny & grandad, and family friends. The cafe itself is most suited to children aged 6 and under just now, although we will be increasing our programme for older children.

Unlimited Playtime

You’re welcome to stay at TurtleDove for as long as you like (or until closing time at least!), and we pride ourselves on a home from home atmosphere. Grown-ups can enjoy a delicious coffee with friends, and children get to engage in some free play.

We live in an incredible city and we know that there are so many things that you could be doing with your family time. With that in mind, we have launched a loyalty card to say a huge thank you for spending your hard earned time and money with us.

What’s On at TurtleDove Play Cafe

There’s a whole range of regular classes and activities scheduled already and we’re currently planning lots of new events for 2017. If there is anything you’d like to see happen that we aren’t already doing, please let us know.

A Little About Us

As parents to three children, we know how important it is to find a play cafe that caters for the whole family. Jenn’s Den opened not long after we had our youngest and we have loved visiting over the past three years. When the opportunity to buy the cafe came up, we knew this is what we had to do.

TurtleDove is based on community, family, friendship and love. We’re as committed to keeping grown-ups as happy as the kids, and so we’re currently working to ensure our menus are filled with healthy, seasonal options (with the odd treat in there, too). We’re big believers in free play, that is to give kids a toy or a pirate ship and allow them to come up with games and scenarios on their own.
